God, (The Ark) in the midst of His people.

And Da'vid gathered all Is'ra-el together to Je-ru'sa-lem, to bring up the ark of the Lord unto his place, which he had prepared for it.
V. 13.Because you did not carry it at the first, the LORD our God made an outburst on us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance.”

14 So the priests and the Le'vites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord God of Is'ra-el.
15 And the children of the Le'vites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Mo'ses commanded according to the word of the Lord.

There is a key to success in God. That is doing things HIS way. Many times as a result of talent, education and zeal, we tend to do things our way without acknowledging the Lord. This lesson is an example of the Lord’s displeasure when we do not seek HIM as HIS children and HIS people.

When establishing a work for the Kingdom of God, the Word of God provide guidelines. Following the Word is a main factor. Without the wisdom of the scriptures and the divine leading of the Holy Spirit we are subject to error. Those errors can be costly in time lost and money. Let us take this lesson for an example and be wise. “In all thy ways acknowledge HIM and He shall direct thy paths.”

Look no further: Humble is the way.

Luke 14:11 “For whosoever exalted himself shall be abased, and he that humblest himself shall be exalted.”

As the price of all types of fuel has gone up, so has the price of exaltation in Christ. Be not deceived, there is a price to pay. Note: the higher the office, the higher the price to reach the zenith of that position. Moses paid. He left Zeporrah his wife for 40 days; climbed a mountain and stayed with God. Before that he chose to suffered affliction rather to enjoy the pleasures of sin. There is a price.

Jesus, despised, rejected of men, a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief experience the greatest type of persecution and lastly gave HIS physical life that others would be exalted. What am I saying, do not be deceived? There is no person who has risen to the heights in God without first going down into the depths of suffering according to their “house”. That is whatsoever we are called to as a life assignment, though chosen we still must pay the price. Why, because, the assignment carries terrestrial glory as well as celestial glory. Both become the treasure of those called to be exalted with Christ as HE possesses both.

If you have not yet received Christ as Lord and Savior, you are missing the greatest experience of life. There is no other way total fulfillment. Repent and believe the gospel. Be Blessed!
